Two men have died in crashes this week – one near Cambridge and another on the outskirts of Wisbech. A 61-year-old motorcyclist riding a Harley Davidson died following a crash on the A1303 near Cambridge yesterday (27 June).

The single-vehicle crash happened at about 7.20pm near Madingley. The rider, from Papworth Everard, died at the scene.

Anyone who witnessed the collision, has dashcam footage, or believes they saw the motorcycle at the time, should contact police online quoting incident 496 of 27 June, or call 101 and ask to speak to a member of the Road Policing Unit.

The second fatality occurred on the A1101 Outwell Road, Emneth, Wisbech at 8.25am on Monday when a silver Ford Fiesta collided with a yellow Ford Ranger.

The road was closed whilst emergency services attended the scene including fire, ambulance and air ambulance.
