Three men in black balaclavas, gloves, black hoodies and trousers were seen on CCTV after a break-in at a Cambridgeshire village shop. They were seen leave the scene of the break-in at the Co-op in Comberton, 4 miles south west of Cambridge, and walking towards the nearby village of Toft.

Police were called at about 1.45am yesterday (March 6) with reports of a break in at the store in West Street.

Officers attending discovered damage to the front of the store where a glass panel had been smashed and removed.

“Three men in black balaclavas, gloves, black hoodies and trousers were seen on CCTV to leave the scene on foot towards Toft,” said a police spokesperson.

“Cigarettes and alcohol were taken but the exact amount is unknown.

“No arrests have been made, and an investigation is ongoing.

The 2,750 sq. ft convenience store, located in West Street, Comberton, opened on April 11 last year and created 12 local jobs.
