‘Cookie king’ Nathaniel Woodward is closing Woody’s Waffles in Wisbech on Saturday, blaming a massive increase in supply costs.

Nat, who moved premises to Bridge Street from Union Street, last summer, announced the shock closure in a Facebook post.

“It’s with a heavy heart I post this,” he wrote. “Woody’s Waffles will be closing its doors for the final time this weekend.
