Details are emerging of a ram raid at the Co-operative store in Wisbech Road, Littleport.
One report locally says the thieves stole a teleporter from a farm before heading to the store and securing it to the cash machine.
“And then ripped out the machine seemingly without disturbing anyone before making off with the loot,” was how one villager described it.
The damage is estimated to run into thousands of pounds.
