WATCH: Late night vandalism in Whittlesey caught on CCTV

Restaurant owners have pleaded with the “gentleman” who pulled out a plant outside their premises late last night and hurled it across a main road to apologise and replace it.

The wanton act of vandalism was caught on CCTV and has been shared today across social media.

Vesuvio Italian restaurant in Eastgate, Whittlesey, placed the CCTV on their Facebook page and shared it to other groups.

The restaurant owners added: “If you would like to gift us another plant to replace this one please come to the restaurant, our opening times are on our page.”
