A Cambridgeshire Constabulary spokesman said: “We were called at about 3.20pm today (30 April) by our colleagues at the fire service to a blaze at a property in Belsay Drive, Stanground, Peterborough.

“A man, aged in his 50s, suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital. No one else was in the property and there were no further injuries.”
