It wasn’t so much what was right with a van pulled over by traffic cops on Monday but what was right with it – and it turned out to be not much. The van was stopped in Hatfield by the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit and the story first shared on X (formerly Twitter).

They tweeted: “Hatfield Team C. Number of issues with this vehicle. Weighing at 5.5T, No DL, No Insurance, No VEL, Driver Using Mobile Phone, No Seatbelt, Insecure Load.

“Vehicle prohibited and seized, and the driver reported to attend court. A danger removed from the roads.”
